Terms of Service
Last updated: October 25, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Learning on Location ("LOL") booking site and the LOL rotation day your school books through it. LOL is a program of the Circle Ten Council, Scouting America. By booking a LOL or using the site, your school agrees to these Terms.
1. What a LOL booking is
A LOL rotation day brings your students to one of the Council's camps for a day of Scout staff-led rotations. Student groups rotate through the activities your school chooses, with a scheduled lunch in the middle of the day. After a booking is confirmed, LOL provides a rotation schedule for your trip; please print it and bring it with you to camp.
2. Expectations for teachers
Teachers bringing a booked LOL day agree to:
- Lead student groups and be with students at all times.
- Participate with students at Scout staff led activities.
- Manage student behavior at all times.
- Follow the schedule and rotation times.
- Have fun and really get to know your students!
Every student should bring a refillable water bottle.
3. Expectations for chaperones
Chaperones accompanying the class agree to:
- Assist teacher with group management.
- Participate and help students as needed.
- Assist with students who need to find the restroom.
- Assist with lunch as needed.
- Have fun with the students!
4. Arrival and campus logistics
On arrival, schools unload the buses, place lunch materials at the edge of the parking lot so they can be delivered to the lunch area, organize students and chaperones into groups, hold a brief orientation with each group, and walk to rotations. The rotation schedule provided for your day lists the meeting points and times for your camp.
5. Student discipline
The discipline of the students is the responsibility of the teachers, school staff, and parents and chaperones while at the camp.
6. Bookings
Schools are responsible for the accuracy of the booking details they submit (including dates, activity selections, and participant counts). A booking is confirmed only when a confirmation is issued. LOL and the Council may reschedule or cancel a LOL for safety, weather, or operational reasons.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the sites, interfere with their normal operation, or attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours.
8. Intellectual property
